Preparing for the New School Year
I've been getting ready for my final year at high school this past week. Needless to say I am excited and nervous at the same time for what the year has to come. The more i prepare, however, the less nervous I feel.
Heres a list of what i've been doing to get ready for the school year.
Edgenuity Answers- Edgenuity was a popular math and science program in junior high school. I signed up again through my summer school to review alot of e2020 algebra answers that i had gotten rusty on. An amazing companion i found to the site is this source www.edge-answers.org which has edgenuity answers as well as the old e2020. By having the answers and questions side by side i could review super fast and save alot of time to learn things i'm more passionate about like history and language.
IXL - This is a cool website that has made learning really simple and easy to do without a teacher. They have tons of interesting games that give you achievements. If you don't know the answers they are slowly revealed so you can learn things you don't know and then focus on them.
Lumosity - Not really a site for studying but instead it has memory and focus increasing games. They keep track of your progress and give weekly reports about how much 'smarter' you have become in different areas. After trying it i probably would NOT recommend it. Instead learn something practical to train your brain like languages, reading, or programming.
These were all techniques I had to pick up myself through trial and error. I wish someone had told me about them when I first started:) Stay tuned for more blog posts about my senior year!
